Dr. Abdul Rasyid has a very keen interest in Drugs and Addiction related problems and has carried out and was affiliated with various major research in the field of substance use disorder including Alcohol, Amphetamines, Opioids among others. Dr. Rasyid Sulaiman also has special interest in disorders closely related to substance use disorders such as mood disorders as well as anxiety disorders. Currently lecturing at International Medical University, Dr. Rasyid Sulaiman is the ex-President of Early Career Psychiatrist at the Malaysian Psychiatric Association and a committee member of the Addiction Medicine Association of Malaysia.
